A & A Juicy Berries is seeking hard working individuals with a keen eye for detail to pack strawberries at their farm in Beerwah. 

Work is available from June to November. 

 A & A Juicy Berries pay fairly and transparently in accordance with the Horticulture Award.  Packers are paid on a piece rate system as permitted by the Horticultural Award.  This includes a guaranteed minimum rate of pay, so employees will not earn less than the applicable Award minimum.
From 1 July 2026, we’ll be paying your superannuation weekly.

People with experience packing strawberries are strongly encouraged to apply.  Training will be provided for all employees – so experience isn’t essential. 

Current Opportunites

Work Commences: March 2026
Position: Full-time

This is a hands-on, varied role supporting the day-to-day operations of the farm. You will work closely with farm management and an established, hardworking team to assist with seasonal activities across all areas of the operation.

Duties may include:

  • General farm operations and maintenance

  • Assisting with planting, harvesting, and crop care

  • Spraying and agricultural support tasks as required

  • Operating farm machinery and equipment

  • Transport and logistics support (HR truck licence highly regarded)

Farm Operations Support

Work Commences: May 2026
Position: Casual / Seasonal
Piecework Rates apply as per The Horticulture Award MA000028

  • Flexible working hours: Monday to Sunday

  • Casual Employment

  • The pay week is from Monday to Sunday – with employees pay transferred into their nominated bank account the 2nd Friday after the end of the pay period. 

  • Superannuation paid at 12% (paid weekly after 1st July 2026).

  • Eligible for 88 days WHV regional work (priority will be given to workers who can commit to the full season).

  • You will be employed directly by the employer.

Essential Requirements

  • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time.

  • Keen eye for detail as you will be grading and assessing each piece of fruit for quality and sizing.

  • Have an understanding in the importance of Workplace Health and Safety.

  • Employee must be willing to take responsibility for their work to ensure quality and food safety standards are met. 

​You will need to be able to work at a fast pace, packing produce into punnets and standing for long periods. Be able to work in a repetitive environment.  You will require a keen eye for detail as will be grading and assessing each piece of fruit for quality and sizing.
